We have been automating extrusion processes for more than 40 years. Here, material costs represent the largest share of production costs. In order to work as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible, scrap materials must be reduced. Therefore, we optimize the material supply, dosing and microdosing of granulates and recyclates.

Dosing processes
Proper feeding is a fundamental part of the production process. The result of dosing depends on the bulk material specification as well as on the ambient conditions and the dosing process in connection with the selected dosing device. The aim is to achieve continuous feeding of various goods. This involves taking a specified quantity of product from a feed quantity located in a scale and continuously feeding it to the downstream process
Gavimetric metering is a weight-controlled metering system. Here, integrated load cells measure the material to be dosed. The weight is thus the only measured variable in gavimetric dosing. It must be carried out in a prescribed time at a prescribed speed.
The dosing is checked and compensated by means of a target/actual comparison. The deviations in bulk density are handled automatically by gavimetric dosing systems.
In volumetric metering, the conveying speed can be adjusted individually, e.g. by the speed of the screw. The conveying capacity is indicated by the automatic weight reduction per time in t/h.
