Being one of the pioneers in the development of automatic systems for the reduction of transversal tollerances, PLAST-CONTROL has continuously developed and refined its systems. The latest PLAST-CONTROL actuator operates quickly and precisely used in combination with our high technology self-learning software guarantees consistent results.

Our profile control systems utilise the profile measurement devices. Transmitting profile data to the ACS computer that calculates and carries out the correct control commands for the segmented actuators.

Using our patented principle the computer positions actuators within the PRO-CON air ring system increasing / decreasing the volume of air in each segment. This influences the stretch rate in the blow up stage of the process adjacent to each actuator. To compensate the mechanical displacement of the blown film tubes oscillation the PRO-CON software mesures and calculates "shift" in the measured profile, this feature adapts itself depending on bubble oscillation and profile scan speed. Accurate and consistent adjustment is achieved irrespective of product dimensions.
The cooling rings are available in three sizes with 48, 64 and 80 actuators. Besides an improvement of at least 50% of the basic tolerances much higher outputs in combination with MAGIC FLOW can be expected. Up to now more than 500 PRO-CON have been installed.

PRO-CON DUO: The logical further development of the well kown MAGICFLOW high performance cooling ring series is the high performance MAGICFLOW DUO concept. In comparison with oterh, similar products, the MAGICFLOW DUO is not significant influenced by the layout of the IBC system. This fact and the compact design allows an easy retrofit onto existing blown-film lines and requires only a short shut down time.

PRO-JET: The PRO-JET Profile Control is achieved with an air-plate disk that is mounted underneath a common cooling ring. Special air valve boxes mounted in a small cabinet next to the system, automatically control the volume of airflow in each segment. Stationary dies with diameters from 100 to 2500mm can be equipped.

Unlike the PRO-CON system the basic tolerances are improved by 30 to 50% but without increases in machine output.

PRO-THERM: The solution for the machinery supplier. Via heating bolts integrated into the die, the melt is influenced by thermal heating. At thick areas of film, the temperature is increased in order to achieve a greater stretch of the melt. Heating energy is reduced in thin areas.
